Cosplay (short for "Costume & Character play") is when someone dresses like a character from a anime, manga, video game, book, comic, or movie.

Most cosplay costume are home-made, but they can also be boughten online from a verity of sites. Such as Cosplay Magic,  Hello Cosplay, CosPlayful, Miccostumes, Cosplay Shopper, and many more. Anime vs. Manga (warning spoiler alert)

notice that there is more detail put into the charters in
the manga, then in the anime. But in the anime there is more
detail put into the background.

Very rarely do animes keep completely true to the manga. More often then not, details would have been changed in the anime from the story in the manga, sometimes even the ending is deferent. This is most noticeable in the anime Death Note, (spoiler alert) the anime ends with Light dying, but the manga goes on with Light living and a longer story. This is also noticeable in Fullmetal Alchemist, the original anime has a different story then the manga. But the Brotherhood series follows the same plot at the manga. Which is why it is so different the the original series.

Give your opinion

Today I'm gonna be talking about the editing of anime when it comes to America. And I want your opinion on the subject.

Animes released in the U.S. are often modified to remove violence, blood, death, and weapons, particularly if the series is aimed towards children. I personally believe this is unnecessary, and takes away from the show. They say violent television causes crime, but did now that in 2002, 127 murders were committed by youths in Japan and 8,226 were committed by youths in America. With those statistics, no one can say they remove the violence to reduce crime.

That's right, next up is Fullmetal Alchemist!!!

I love this anime, it's an adventure, science fantasy. FMA is full of emotion, action, and comedy. It will have you at the edge of your seat at one moment, making a tear run down your cheek another, and then laughing the next (not in that order). In FMA we fallow the story of two brothers, Edward and Alphonse Elric, two young alchemist, as they pursue the philosopher's stone.

Als' Blood seal

While trying to bring back their deceased mother using alchemy, Edward lost his right hand, but his brother Alphonse lost his whole body. To save him Ed gives his left leg to bind Als' soul to a suit of armor, using a blood seal. Ed becomes a state alchemist, to get access to military information regarding the philosopher's stone. They hope to one find the secret to making the stone, to restore their bodies.

Hello again, and welcome back!


Today I will be talking about, Bleach!


Bleach is a action, bangsian fantasy. Which follows the adventures of Ichigo Kurosaki after he obtains the powers of a Soul Reaper (Death God), from another Soul Reaper, Rukia Kuchiki. His new powers force him to take on the duties of defending humans from evil spirits and guiding departed souls to the afterlife. This is also one my favorite anime. This one is more fast pasted the Death Note and has a lot  more combat.


Similar to a lot of animes, Ichigo was just a "normal" hight school student. Who had a gift he didn't know about, what he does know is he can see spirits. I have already told you how he gets his powers, so I'll just skip that part. Ichigo has a lot to learn, but it's not gonna be easy. In the first episode we fallow Ichigo and Rukia, as she shows him the ropes and teaches him the basics of being a Soul Reaper. He has a hard time chatting on and Rukia has a lot of fun watching him fail. But Ichigo has a massive power hidden deep within him, that not even Rukia knows about!
