Today I'm gonna be talking about the editing of anime when it comes to America. And I want your opinion on the subject.

Animes released in the U.S. are often modified to remove violence, blood, death, and weapons, particularly if the series is aimed towards children. I personally believe this is unnecessary, and takes away from the show. They say violent television causes crime, but did now that in 2002, 127 murders were committed by youths in Japan and 8,226 were committed by youths in America. With those statistics, no one can say they remove the violence to reduce crime.
