Hellsing Ultimate: Volume 1

I have recently watched Hellsing Ultimate: Volume 1, and man was it good. One of the things I loved about it was the fact that the zombies had red blood, instead of green blood. The DVD is broken up into 9 parts, but flow continually without a glitch, you don't even notice the transition. It has great quality, voice overs, animation. over all, I would highly recommend this DVD!

My views on anime vs. American cartoons

Anime has become increasingly popular in the US over the past decade. I'm not sure about you, but I prefer anime over American cartoons, because ours have a lack of story line and action (and I don't mean mindless violence). In anime every episode links up with the last and it's the story that keeps me coming back for more, wanting to know what is gonna happen next. In cartoons every episode has it's own story, so it doesn't matter happens in an episode, because it won't affect the next. Also in anime there is a lot more character development and the characters have more personality, because of this you either come to love or hate them, which makes it all the more dramatic when they fail, succeed, or even die.

Alphonse Elric suit of armor

Hello everyone, over the summer I am going to attempt to make a replica of Als' suit of armor from Fullmetal Alchemist. My suit is going to be made out of metal, most likely aluminum, because it is cheat and easy to work with. I am hoping to be able to make two, one of which will be my size and the other will be full size. If they come out well I will consider making and sell them by request. Mail Order Ninja Vol. 1

Today I will be talking about the manga Mail Order Ninja Vol. 1, written Joshua Elder and illustrated by Erich Owen. M.O.N. is an original English-language magma, meaning it's from America. In my personal opinion it shows, it doesn't have that traditional manga look to it, that you see in Japanese mangas. But over all it has a good story to it and is a good read. I would Highly recommend giving this manga a read, I suggest getting it from the library, it's not the kind of manga you would buy (to short).

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm is the 6th games in the Ultimate Ninja series and the first Naruto game for the Playstation 3. This games was also the first to have free environment fights and allow you to explore the village of Konoha. Another thing that makes this game stand out from the rest in the series is the fact that some moves you do can change the environment. As with all fighting games it is a lot more fun if you have someone to play against. I also love that you are given the choice between, the original japanese voices or the american voices. Overall I would highly recommend this games if your are a Naruto fan.

Naruto Ultimate Ninja

Naruto Ultimate Ninja is a arcade style fighting games based on the anime Naruto. The game has very good graphics for a Playstation 2 games, the controls are also fairly simple. Like any fighting game you have to use a button combination to use your special moves (or Jutsus). It plays smoothly and has (in my opinion) a lot of replay value, especially if you have someone to play against.  The game has a story mode, but their isn't much to it. As you play through the game you unlock new stuff, like characters.  Over all I would recommend this game if you're a Naruto fan. I give it a 4 out of 5.

Death Note dvd volumes 1 and 2

I recently watched Death Note vol. 1 (episodes 1 - 4) and vol. 2 (episodes 5 - 8) on dvd. Watching them was very enjoyable, I loved the option to watch it with the original Japanese audio or English dubbed. The extra features include the making of Death Note, behind the scenes, director's commentary, and interviews with the cast and art designers. Also not having to watch commercials was also great. Over all they where great and well worth the money.

AMVs

AMV (short for Anime Music Video) are very popular on Youtube and other video sharing sites. An AMV is a fan made music video with scenes from one or more animes. They typically have music that matches the video very well, but sometimes the music does not fit the anime and ruins the whole video. You can't have a love song playing during an intense fight from the anime Claymore, it just doesn't work. The one's that do have fitting music are very cool and fun to watch.
